Heather Lepp is an emerging artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She graduated from the University of Manitoba’s School of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours Degree in 2016. From 2016-2019 she continued her studies working as an apprentice to Marcelina Salazar, Peter Brondz, Martin Tagseth, and Cathi Jefferson. In 2019, she also completed a four-month long Flex residency at Medalta in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
All pieces are handmade, using either porcelain or stoneware clay. Heather experiments with surface design, and small playful embellishments on the clay. She uses a variety of kilns including, atmospheric firing (wood, soda and salt), as well as electric.
